PSTET Selection Process

PSTET is conducted to recruit teachers in primary and elementary levels in different schools run by Punjab government. Selection process includes a written exam and document verification. The conducting body conducts two different papers for primary and elementary levels, respectively. Check PSTET exam pattern of the papers below:

Checking eligibility criteria before filling application form is important. Candidature of the candidates will be cancelled if eligibility criteria are not met. Read all basic eligibility criteria carefully below:

Age: There is no upper age limit for any of the two papers

Educational Qualification: Paper 1: 50% marks in 12th standard along with a four year elementary education training. Candidates with graduation or diploma in elementary education can also apply. Paper 2: Graduation along with B.Ed

HTET 2021 Selection Process

HTET selection process involves the stages mentioned below: HTET online application: candidates willing to apply for HTET need to apply for the exam online. Candidates can select the levels as per their preference and eligibility. HTET admit card: HTET admit card will be released one week before the exam. Admit card for level 1, 2 and 3 will be released separately on the official website of HTET exam. HTET written test: HTET written exam will have three papers, Paper – I, Paper- II and Paper – III. Paper – I is for Primary Teachers (Classes I – V), Paper – II is for Trained Graduate Teachers – TGT (Class VI -VIII) and Paper – III is for Post Graduate Teacher (class IX – XII).
